Number of Positions: 2

The Asia Foundation is looking for a skilled and experienced candidate to serve as a Driver in the Bangladesh office. The driver will ensure their passengers’ and vehicles’ safety and comfort by providing their driving services. Drivers will map out a route before they leave their office. They’ll pick up anyone who requests it at an agreed-upon time and possibly help them as needed during each trip. Meanwhile, they will listen carefully for traffic updates to keep their passengers’ on schedule with getting to their destination.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Driving and Vehicle maintenance:

• Drive the assigned vehicle most reliably and safely.
• Respect the duty time and be flexible to adjust duties considering priorities.
• Ensure all driving rules and regulations of the Foundation are strictly followed, including all fitness regularities.
• Ensure daily routine checkups of the assigned vehicle.
• To clean the assigned vehicle inside/outside every day.
• Interact with passengers professionally at all times.
• Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
• Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed.
• Keep mileage records and repair records up to date.
• Load and unload materials from the vehicle when necessary.
• Carry and deliver letters externally as and when required.
• Other duties as assigned by the Management.

Record Keeping:

• Submit the mileage statement to the administration for billing and other purposes.
• Inform the Supervisor of any accident as soon as possible.
• Update all legal documents for the vehicle in time, such as registration, fitness, tax token, etc.
